Hi, I’m Ash!
God Homeschool equips Christian moms to teach their preschool and kindergarten kids about God with lesson plans, learning games, and family prayers.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord…Jeremiah 29:11

I had to lose my faith to find a true one.
I grew up in a home that took faith seriously. Church every Sunday, verses on the wall, a version of Christianity built on doing everything right. I thought that made me a good Christian.
Then real life happened. My oldest son’s health has never been something we got through once, it’s something our family lives with. I did everything I was taught to do: pray harder, believe bigger, trust that enough faith would fix it. It didn’t work the way I was promised it would.
One night, not long after another hospital stay, I put him down in his crib, walked into my closet, and told God the truth. I don’t want to believe in You anymore. I meant every word. For three years, I didn’t. I wasn’t angry and praying. I just wasn’t there.
He found me again in the most ordinary moment: a holiday light garden, my birthday, my newborn asleep against my chest while my toddler ran circles around us. In the middle of all that noise, I felt Him again. Not the God I’d been running from. Someone softer. Someone actually good. I whispered, I see You here. Come back into my heart.
That was the moment I started believing again. But I was believing in the older version of God, the wrong version. It wasn’t until Max was three, in the hospital overnight for a brain MRI, that I found the God of Scripture. The faithful one. The loving one. The compassionate one. The rescuer.
I didn’t get my old faith back. I got a true one, one built on who God actually is, not who I was told He had to be for me to count as a good Christian.
That’s why I started God Homeschool. I want my boys, and yours, to know the God of Scripture from the very beginning.
Three things I believe
God in Homeschool
Faith isn’t one more subject to squeeze in. It belongs at the center of the school day.
Strong Faith
Little kids can understand who God is when it’s taught simply, hands-on, and true to Scripture.
Motherhood Is the Calling
Teaching your kids about God isn’t a side project. It’s the work God gave you, and He equips you for it.

Keeping God at the center of our homeschool.
Now I build faith lessons for my own two boys, test them out in our own home, and share what works with you.
Through the God Homeschool podcast, free handouts, and our Facebook community, I help Christian moms teach their little kids who God is, with lessons short enough to actually stick.
Come as you are.
Bring your questions and your wiggly kids. Let’s keep God at the center of your homeschool together.
